Recently announced on the official Google Stadia Twitter page, Darksiders will be coming to the Google Stadia gaming platform! First released in 2010 by Vigil Games, Darksiders—which is now developed by Gunfire Games and Airship Syndicate—is categorised as being a hack and slash game with a heavy focus on action and adventure.
Darksiders takes a great deal of inspiration from the legend of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and the player is tasked with controlling and playing as one of these revered characters. In Darksiders Genesis, the player will be given the challenge of saving the world, in collaboration with the horseman known as War, from Lucifer, whose dastardly plans threaten the safety of the entire planet and its people.
Darksiders Genesis will be an open world game, allowing players the ultimate freedom to explore and experiment with the new powers and abilities given to them as the character, Strife. The game is likely to feature a number of puzzles to be solved, if the previous instalments are anything to go by, and the series typically features a highly enjoyable feature wherein the player must learn to understand their character’s strengths and weaknesses and use these to best make advantage of their fights, most notably during boss fights.
