It’s been over a month since we first learned that Google Stadia will be discussed at this year’s Google I/O 2019 conference. Since then, we’ve heard very little in regards to the cloud gaming service. In fact, information has run a little thin now, and as such, we’re looking forward to the potential tidbits that Google may treat us to during their Google IO 2019 discussions.
The first day of the Google I/O 2019 discussions begins after breakfast at 10AM tomorrow with a keynote address which will be made by Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai. After that point, there are a huge number of events on offer, with a large number on offer regarding gaming. What we are most excited for, however, is the ‘Stadia Streaming Tech: A Deep Dive’ event.
This particular event is to be hosted by the Stadia Playability Team. It will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 on Tuesday 7th May—tomorrow—in the Garage at the Google IO 2019 conference. Is has been set up to discuss the rapidly developing landscape that is the world of gaming, and most importantly, the world of cloud gaming.
On discussion will be information regarding the functionality of Stadia as well as further details in regards to the high-tech technology which will be powering the Google Stadia gaming platform. The session will be shining some light on exactly how Google is planning to to tackle the issues surrounding the quality of the visuals when games are played on the cloud gaming platform, as well as other concerns that have been expressed such as the potential for latency when playing high frame rates on slower internet connections.
The Google I/O 2019 conference is also set to be discussing topics including the Google Assistant technology and the Google Pixel mobile developments, both of which are to be a part of Google Stadia.
