Have you ever wondered what the top 5 game sequels that would be wicked on Google Stadia will be?
Google Stadia has the potential to revolutionize the ways in which we play games, but let’s be honest; while new titles are always exciting, the games that we’re most looking forward to seeing on the Google Stadia platform are the ones that we already know and love—the game sequels.
Deciding on the top 5 game sequels that would be wicked on Google Stadia is not an easy thing to do. There are so many incredible titles and their sequels, and with most franchises now having sequels, and sequels of sequels, and so on, how can we narrow these down to choose the top 5 that we’re most looking forward to?
Google Stadia Wasteland 3
The Wasteland franchise was first thought up and released in 1988 by EA and Interplay for a number of platforms and computer software, including the Apple II computer and the Commodore 64. While sequels were initially in planning for the game, these were eventually scrapped until a new game developer, inXile Entertainment, took the plunge and made the risky step of releasing Wasteland 2 a whole 26 years after the first instalment! Since this point, it has now been announced that the franchise will be further expanded to include Wasteland 3 at some point later on this year. But could Google Stadia Wasteland 3 be possible?
The Wasteland games—which would later serve as Interface’s inspiration for the renowned Fallout series of games—focus on the exploration and survival of a post-apocalyptic wasteland, wherein Artificial Intelligence created before the war is threatening the destruction of the last surviving vestiges of mankind (something that may well sound familiar for any true Fallout fan).
It should be noted that Wasteland 3 is actually planned for release in winter 2019, making a version ofGoogle Stadia Wasteland 3 a real possibility. Wasteland 3 looks to be a truly epic addition to the franchise, so we sure hope that it will be released as a Google Stadia Game!
Google Stadia The Last Of Us II
It’s your typical zombie apocalypse game, but The Last Of Us truly is an incredible title and one that is definitely worth trying for anyone who loves a good action-adventure survival horror game. First
thought up in 2009 and then released for players in 2013, it’s been six years since we last saw an update to this awesome game. Thankfully, hope is not lost; we now know that the game is going to be made into a franchise with the release of its first ever sequel, The Last Of Us II.
But will we be able to see a release of the title for Google Stadia The Last Of Us II? The answer to this, unfortunately, is that we most likely won’t get the chance to see Google Stadia The Last Of Us II. With the game being created by Naughty Dog—a developer that is owned by Sony—it seems unlikely that it will be released on the Google Stadia platform.
Google Stadia XCOM 2
If you love a good sci-fi, alien invasion game then XCOM might be right for you! XCOM2 features a number of impressive graphics and effects and is a first person shooter game that thrusts the player into the role of a military commander, struggling to prevent a full scale alien invasion. The game places a heavy focus on tactical gameplay and strategic approaches to problems, making XCOM 2 an incredibly exciting and engaging title!
There is, as of yet, no real knowledge as to whether we will be seeing a Google Stadia XCOM 2 version, and as such, we can only speculate as to whether XCOM2 will be published for the Google Stadia platform. With such a thrilling plotline and story, though, we think Google Stadia XCOM 2 would be a highly enjoyable addition to the games database!
