In the last few weeks Google has announced a spring clean of some of its much loved features, and it is well known among the community that they randomly kill off their products from time to time. It is natural that some people have therefore got concerns that Stadia could just be another project that will end up in the trash. In an interview with Kotaku, though, Phil Harrison has assured that it is more than just a trivial project.
According to Harrison, “all you have to do is look at the level of investment that we have made and continue to make in Stadia,” to see that it is being taken seriously. He also stated that “it [Stadia] represents thousands of people who are working on this business,” which clearly shows how seriously Google is taking this project.
