  • What controllers are compatible with Stadia for pixel?
    by /u/Randyxx66 on October 16, 2019 at 9:34 PM

I know that the Stadia controller is compatible, but do you guys think google will allow third party controller for the pixel to be allowed to play Stadia? I only ask because I have a Bluetooth controller compatible for Android that had a phone holder in it which is really nice to play in and travel with. Thanks! submitted by /u/Randyxx66 [link] [comments]

  • The future of game streaming gets brighter!
    by /u/TylerW0223 on October 16, 2019 at 7:50 PM

Hey guys, Not sure if this will get me hate for posting an Xbox thing on Stadia's Reddit; but I've found some game play on YouTube of X Cloud. Posting here because I think my fellow Stadia fans would appreciate since the launch is a little over a month away (11/19/2019) and lets be honest, the hype is real. Looks really fluent. He had a few slight issues but over all I'd say this guy was impressed with X Cloud as a service. He said it was indiscernible to try and determine input lag (but didn't really complain about it). I would expect these issues to be present with PSN and XC initially but am still very hopeful this wont be an issue given stadias server base. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF72mZjLMaQ (gameplay starts at 09:05) Cheers. submitted by /u/TylerW0223 [link] [comments]

  • True or False- We will be able to play Stadia games on 4G with our phones?
    by /u/VRgamer84 on October 16, 2019 at 7:36 PM

I get 18-20 mbps on my phone with 4G, as long as the speed meets minimum requirements, will I be able to just whip out my phone anywhere and play Stadia games, or will I get an error message that says “WiFi only” despite having more than enough speed? submitted by /u/VRgamer84 [link] [comments]

  • Does Stadia support real time ray tracing?
    by /u/plainlazy019 on October 16, 2019 at 7:16 PM

I mean there is never a mention regarding ray tracing anywhere I have seen. submitted by /u/plainlazy019 [link] [comments]

  • Do we know where we actually buy games from?
    by /u/Obligatory-Reference on October 16, 2019 at 6:34 PM

Maybe a stupid question, but I haven't seen it addressed anywhere. Will we buy games from the Google Play store? Or a different Stadia-specific store? (I have some credit for the Google Play store which I would like to use on games) submitted by /u/Obligatory-Reference [link] [comments]

  • Just started looking into Stadia....what's the point of the Founder's edition?
    by /u/GoalieJohnK on October 16, 2019 at 6:26 PM

Aside from the special controller, buddy pass and 3 free months, is there anything special with the founders edition? I think I'll get into Stadia eventually, but was thinking about waiting to see how it performs and maybe getting it for Christmas. Will the standard edition (if that's what it called) still be $129? submitted by /u/GoalieJohnK [link] [comments]

  • Why are people excited for stadia ?
    by /u/Hendo19933 on October 16, 2019 at 6:16 PM

So a lot of people on the internet ask why people are excited for stadia ? And who is stadia for? I'm going to explain why am excited for stadia and why stadia is for me 😊 So I've been gaming for a long time since I was 5 and I'm 26 years old now and I've owned about every console that's there's been starting from the Sega then the PS1 then owned all consoles since and I've got to say it's been amazing watching gaming grow the way it has and what it's become today but I'm going to be totally honest with yous guys, gaming has always been expensive and isn't cheap especially in 2019 and if you didn't have the latest console you would be left behind playing on the older hardware well other people are playing newer games on more powerful hardware with better everything, so what if you didn't need to worry about that? Well this is why am so excited for stadia because I'll never be left behind with hardware again and don't need to worry about saving up for the next gen console or putting myself in debt and getting it on finance, also don't need to worry about my hardware breaking. I can just pay £130 upfront and get 3 months of stadia pro and also get destiny 2 with it and 3 months buddy pass, then after that all I'll need to pay is 9.99 a month and that gets me 4k 60fps with 5.1 surround sound, if you add it up 9.99 over 6 years and add the £130 upfront for stadia that's £849 over 6 years so if you then count a price of a next gen console £499 then your online subscription for the year so about £550 but then your going to need to keep paying your online subscription for the other 5 years so you'll end up paying a extra 250 so that's £800 all in but what if your console breaks ? I've had many of consoles that have just stopped working and then needing to go out and buy another console, so £849 vs £800 So your £49 more with stadia over the 6 years but let's be honest paying for something over 6 years is completely different from paying the same amount upfront and for hundreds of millions of people this will be a huge deal. submitted by /u/Hendo19933 [link] [comments]

    by /u/______Zephyr______ on October 16, 2019 at 5:14 PM

  • Red Dead Redemption 2 Cross Play
    by /u/NIREKII on October 16, 2019 at 4:58 PM

What do you think? Will Red Dead Redemption 2 on stadia have Crossplay with pc- versions? Or even PS4 and Xbox One? submitted by /u/NIREKII [link] [comments]

  • RDR2 running at [email protected] confirmed!
    by /u/ManOnSaturn on October 16, 2019 at 4:53 PM

Stadia official account confirmed that red dead redemption will run at max details! https://twitter.com/GoogleStadia/status/1184499240892022785?s=19 Finally! Can't wait to play it! Edit: TWEET REMOVED. At this point we don't know if it was rockstar games asking for it in order to push the sales on their store, or Stadia double thinking on the 60fps statement. • Stadia Controller Case
    by /u/HatDroid on October 16, 2019 at 3:28 PM

Just wondering, The stadia controller will be shipped with some sort of case? Considering the high mobility given by the system I would like to find some kind of protection for my controller when putting it into the bag (I had countless controllers destroyed by my backpack ;_;) submitted by /u/HatDroid [link] [comments]

  • I've seen talks on 4k and data caps but what about 1080p?
    by /u/FuegoInfinito on October 16, 2019 at 2:27 PM

Hey all, I wanted to see if there is any approximate data usage numbers for 1080p? I don't have a 4k tv so not sure if there is any reports of the estimate data usage of playing games at 1080p. submitted by /u/FuegoInfinito [link] [comments]

  • Multiplayer Chess and Checkers
    by /u/TyHarvey on October 16, 2019 at 2:26 PM

A while back, somebody on here asked if Stadia was going to have the classic multiplayer chess and checkers games. I jokingly responded that if nobody else was gonna make this, I would make it myself and publish it onto Stadia. Fast forward to now, and I realized that I would legitimately love to see some classic checkers make its way to Stadia, for no real reason at all other than it sounding fun. Will it push the limits of Stadia's tech? Nope. Will it do anything new or unique? Nah. It's just classic board games. Easy, straightforward, and fun. So, I just wanted to ask the community; do you want to see a classic 2D checkers or chess game make its way to Stadia? I have some limited experience with game design, and could likely build something pretty quickly on Unity. I'd personally rather someone else do it, but if nobody else is gonna do it, I may as well. I'm not a registered dev for Stadia, and don't know the specific process, but I'm sure I could figure it out from their dev website. So yeah... do you wanna see a chess and checkers game on Stadia, with 1v1 multiplayer? It would be a more genuine classic experience that you'd find on older versions of Windows, so truly nothing fancy. Would be going for a nostalgia thing. submitted by /u/TyHarvey [link] [comments]

  • I made a countdown site (or news site in the future)
    by /u/EIenawr on October 16, 2019 at 2:15 PM

Idk if anyone would be interested in it actually being on the interwebs. But here is a screenshot. (also, when days == 0, it will show hours etc.) https://i.redd.it/94vv276ovws31.png submitted by /u/EIenawr [link] [comments]

  • A cool thing that I think was overlooked yesterday about the reason behind Stadia.
    by /u/sedinja on October 16, 2019 at 2:12 PM

How you feel about digital/streaming only aside, I thought Google had a very clear "Why" with Stadia. Being aware of the environment and minimizing impact of producing hardware etc. It makes a lot of sense now that you see that for the most part, Stadia is meant to run with the stuff you already have. I can appreciate that and not having to deal with having to take ANOTHER device in my bag besides a controller. submitted by /u/sedinja [link] [comments]

  • No console to Stadia
    by /u/vinodlingamsetty on October 16, 2019 at 1:40 PM

I played games on PC while I was in high school, like 4-5 hours each day. Later in college I lost interest in games and didn’t play at all. After college, borrowed Xbox 360 2013 version and tried COD for few months liked it but didn’t continue there after. No games from 2014-2018 until I stared to play PUBG mobile on iPhone, liked it soo much! Recently gave away the Xbox 360 to a friend, no console now so is it good idea to buy stadia? I liked PUBG just because, I play with family and friends. My concern is today there are not many multiplayer games in stadia but will there be at sometime? I also like to play couch co-op games remembering my high school days, I mostly played co-ops So asking for suggestions if it’s worth to invest in founders edition- I don’t have a chrome ultra or any controller. submitted by /u/vinodlingamsetty [link] [comments]

  • Cancelled Subscription = Back in Stock in the UK?
    by /u/Dommiie on October 16, 2019 at 1:33 PM

Hello there, I have been absolutely thrilled about Google Stadia since the first time I have heard about it. I have a very old laptop and don't own any console, so besides the occasional Civ 5 or Warcraft III, I have not really had the chance to try out some of the new exciting games that have/will come out. Despite that, I have an excellent internet connection with unlimited data - the Google Stadia is perfect for me! Now when I have finally made the decision to pre-order, I couldn't believe my own eyes - the Stadia was sold out! Finding out that you only get charged once the device is shipped brought even more disappointment. What I'm asking is, is it possible that the Google Stadia will be again available to order in case someone cancels his or her order? Is it worth stalking the website for the unlikely event it will be back in stock for a short time? (I know there is the Premiere Edition coming up, but it doesn't include the Buddy Pass and I would love to get my hands on the limited dark blue controller) Thanks a lot! submitted by /u/Dommiie [link] [comments]

  • Multiplayer games
    by /u/kast0r_ on October 16, 2019 at 1:29 PM

Hey! Stadia looks like the future of gaming for sure. I'm on the fence to buy it or not. Actually, my main concern is that I play mainly multiplayer games. If we take Destiny 2 as example. There's a lot of gamers on PS4, XB1, PC, but how will it be on Stadia? Will I need to wait 4 hours to get on PvP because I play with Stadia's players ? Is there any crossplatform games confirmed? Thanks a lot ! submitted by /u/kast0r_ [link] [comments]

  • Building a Friend base on Stadia.
    by /u/TheMoonsaults on October 16, 2019 at 12:54 PM

I'm not about you guys, but I'm somewhat on my own when it comes to people around me and Stadia. A few people want to see how it works, have a little curiosity in the idea, but I don't actually know anyone who has dived in on Founders/Premier Edition. I'd, hopefully, like to use this thread to post our gamertags, country of residence, games we will play, and general gaming time, so that people can make friends on Stadia and enjoy it as a full experience. I imagine a thread with replies like "UK", followed by replies from UK players, and so forth for all supported countries. Would anyone else be interested? Just to start, whilst I don't have a gamertag yet... UK...RDR2, GRID, Gylt and Destiny 2. Evenings and weekends mostly, with some day times free too. ✌️ submitted by /u/TheMoonsaults [link] [comments]

  • Is it just me or there isn't any hate for the Xbox xCloud preview, compared to Stadia

I don't understand what is the difference between the 2 to hate on one and not the other. submitted by /u/CrazyGentleMan [link] [comments]

  • Going from PS3 to Stadia
    by /u/comp-error on October 16, 2019 at 3:33 AM

Just my point of view, feel free to comment or skip because...just my opinion 😀 As the title says I’m going from PS3 to Stadia. Father, family, sometime traveller which makes this pretty exciting for me. Our family makes decent money so buying a new console wasn’t a issue. Justifying the time for me to play personally was the barrier. I’ve watched more Dora the explorer in the last four years so I know realistically what I can get into. Stadia for me gets me back in the game (literally) in my own way and time. Never have to worry about next-gen hardware, going to let me pick up and drop as family life dictates. Not saying I’m the primary market but for me this is pretty great. submitted by /u/comp-error [link] [comments]
