It's evident that the gaming market is adapting to newer technology as time moves on, it's heading the same way as the film & music industry. It's the norm to fire up Google Play, Netflix or Amazon Prime to watch or listen nowadays...

Personally I've always enjoyed picking up the occasional second hand game from the likes of GAME or CEX, but now I don't have to travel anywhere, I can browse through a catalogue of games on my mobile or web browser and add to my library and I don't have to spend £100's on keeping up to date with hardware.

Having owned the Stadia since it's release, I am already seeing the convenience, I even take mine to work and use it at my desk whilst on my lunch break!

1. No download wait times.
2. No expensive hardware upgrades, ever again.
3. Fast and up to date gaming hardware that is upgraded by google.
4. Easy mobility as it’s easy to take just a controller and CCU with you to travel versus a bulky console.
5. Media safety. I can still download and listen to music I purchased from iTunes almost 2 decades ago. I won’t be able to download my games, but decades from now I will still have access to games I purchased today, at the press of a button. No bad weather or unfortunate events will take it away (unlike my SNES and N64 :’( )
6. No having to manage hardware or storage. No deleting games to make room for a new game, and then wanting to play that game again years down the road and redownload it.

There may be more but this is off the top of my head.
