Put on your cowboy hats and prep your canteens for when Stadia comes out in November! Rockstar Games announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 is coming out as a launch title on Google Stadia!
Red Dead 2 will also be available on PC, Humble Store, Green Man Gaming, Epic Games Store, and finally on Steam in December. The game is already out on PlayStation 4 and XBox One, released back in October 2018.
For awhile, things weren’t so clear back at the ranch whether Stadia gamers could play Red Dead Redemption, but as Stadia’s release date gets closer and closer (gallops closer and closer?), more and more games are being added to Stadia’s release date.
And Red Dead Redemption 2 on Stadia will be amazing.
Unlike playing cowboys and gunslingers on your PS4 or XBox One, Google Stadia has Red Dead Redemption 2’s graphics and AI system and sound management running server side.
Google-Sized Server Side
For a game that has won awards for “Best Graphics” and “Best Soundtrack”, having the graphics managed by 5.1 surround sound and 10.7 teraflops running at 60 fps will be exactly what a gorgeous, critically acclaimed game with a whopping 97% positive reviews deserves!
And on Stadia, it is incredibly simple to share your game with your friends or your audience through YouTube, through an exclusive Stadia tool called State Share. No more having to wait and load updates. No more having to wait and load video content back and forth between 4 programs to get your playthrough of your adventures in the Western United States up on the Internet and then wait for it to load again.
With Stadia, it’s a handful of clicks and it’s up.
No stress on your end, no fighting the technical system and pulling yourself out of the game world. Just you and your game, and your friends watching you game, because Stadia is awesome!
That leaves us with one ultimate question for you. What else is Google hiding in the next month or so in anticipation of Stadia’s release? Surely there’s more titles, games, features, or other stuff we just don’t know! What are your thoughts? Comment below!
